What is Ozone and what does it do?
Ozone is a molecule composed of three atoms of oxygen. Two atoms of oxygen form the basic oxygen molecule--the oxygen we breathe that is essential to life. The third oxygen atom can detach from the ozone molecule, and re-attach to molecules of other substances, thereby altering their chemical composition.  This is how it neutralizes odors and cleans the air.   As an air purifier it is very effective, but when being used in confined spaces, it is best to use it only in small amounts because very high concentrations of ozone can be harmful.
The best ozone air purifier available for homes and buildings is the Spring Air Classic.  For ozone treatment for your car there is the Auto Air ZO-AF12.
